Knowledge Gap: 
The purpose of this activity is to educate UAMS employees with the most up-to-date information on Interprofessional Collaboration:  Theory and Application at UAMS.

Target Audience
The target audience includes all healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals and employees at UAMS who would like to learn about Interprofessional Collaboration: Theory and Application at UAMS and how it pertains to their respective profession.

Biographical Info

Wendy L. Ward, Ph.D., ABPP is Director of Interprofessional Faculty Development in the Office of Interprofessional Education (OIPE) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She coordinates the faculty development programming designed to build faculty skills in interprofessional collaboration in the areas of integrated clinical care, collaborative team-based science, and interprofessional education. 

 

 

The second presenter is Ashley Castleberry, Director of Assessment and Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the UAMS College of Pharmacy. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from UAMS and then completed a post graduate residency while earning her Masters of Arts in Higher Education for Health Professions Teaching and Learning. She serves as the Co-Chair for the UAMS IPE Faculty Development Pillar Team.
