Objectives - Explain who should be offered Pre-exposure prophylaxis for HIV.
- Define recommended lab monitoring prior to and after initiation of PrEP.

Biographical Info Dr. Keyur Vyas is the Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases. I am originally from Toronto, Canada, but grew up in and around Fort Smith, AR. I did my premedical studies at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. I completed medical school at UAMS and stayed here for Residency and Chief Residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Infectious Diseases. I have been on faculty here since 2008. In addition to seeing patients, I serve as the Associate Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency program. | | References 1. WHO-HIV department.
