Program Overview:
The purpose of this activity is to educate medical professionals on Child Passenger Safety for Healthcare Professionals.

 


Objectives:
  

  1. Identify the difference between the law and best practice.
  2. Identify the four steps for child passenger safety.
  3. Name three types of misuse of car seats.

 

Speaker Bio:

Holly Terry has been educating families and professionals for 16 years. In 2001, she became a certified car seat tech and an instructor in 2002. Since then Holly has participated or lead more than 50 certification classes training more than 500 nurses, law enforcement officers, and other interested individuals.
